The Indiana Department of Transportation says lane restrictions on the U.S. 20 Bypass have been delayed.
Eastbound and westbound passing lanes were expected to be restricted between U.S. 31 (Michigan Street) and the Miami Street Bridge starting Wednesday. Restrictions will now be in place starting next week.
INDOT says the restrictions are due to the construction of the new Fellows Street Bridge over the Bypass. The project is part of the larger U.S. 31 upgrade project, paid for by Major Moves.
The restrictions are scheduled to last through October.
