Brush Fire in Elkhart County

Lack of rain was a big factor in a brush fire Tuesday in Elkhart County.

Firefighters were called out to a number of field fires today - including this one on County Road 1, just north of old U.S. 20 in Cleveland Township.

We counted grass rigs from four other area fire departments helping Cleveland Township out.

No damage to buildings was reported.
