Police have released the name of a man accused of leading police on a high-speed chase that led to a fiery crash following an armed robbery.

Larry Harris was arrested Thursday evening. He's being held on charges of Armed Robbery, Resisting Officers with a vehicle, Resisting Officers.

Just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday, police believe Harris held up the Family Video at the corner of Vistula and Bittersweet Roads in Mishawaka. Police say the suspect took off toward Capital Avenue and led them on a chase reaching speeds close to 100 miles per hour.

The car eventually crashed near the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park on Cleveland Road between Main Street and Grape Road. The suspect's car caught fire before he was arrested.

Harris is being held at the Saint Joseph County Jail without bond.

Along with the new charges, police say Harris also had a warrant out for his arrest on Residential Entry and a U.S. Marshals Federal Hold.
