Sometimes it's difficult to find the motivation to exercise.
One group wants to promote a healthy lifestyle for youngsters, and riding a bike is a fun way to reach them.
But not every kid has access to their own bike, so The Reducing Obesity Coalition of St. Joseph County is rounding some up!
The group is collecting gently used or outgrown child bikes.
The bikes will then be donated to the South Bend fire department.
"They are going to work with neighborhood kids to fix them and repair them for use. Inspect them for safety. Kids working with the firefighters will use them as basically a reward," says Robin Meleski with the St. Joseph County Health Department.
The next roundup will be on July 18th, and there will be another in September.
