For the second time this year, Park Jefferson Apartments caught fire this weekend.
It happened Sunday at 220 Rue Flambeau. Fire crews were called to the scene just after 10:00 p.m. According to dispatchers it took about 20 minutes for crews to put out the flames.
Firefighters say the fire started in a pan on the top of a stove. No one was hurt but people in seven nearby apartments were temporarily relocated until the smoke and water damage to the building could be repaired. Firefighters estimate there was $50-thousand dollars worth of damage to the apartments.
