The State Theater in South Bend is now set to become a rotating entertainment venue. The idea proposed by Gavin Ferlic, Paul Phair, David Sierdzki was the idea chosen as the winner of the DTSB "Pitch Your Plan" contest.
Back in April, 90 individuals and groups pitched their ideas for what the city should do with the State Theater. From there, the field was narrowed down to nine finalists. Those folks have spent the last few months working with professional business coaches to try and plan out the perfect way to put their idea into action. The finalists presented their plans to a panel of judges Tuesday afternoon at the theater.
The winners will now get their names on the marquee outside the theater and a $1,000 cash prize. FOX28 News spoke to the winning group this afternoon. Hear what they had to say tonight on FOX28 News at 10.
