Suspected murder accomplice in court

The woman accused of assisting in the murder of two people is set to head to trial in late September.

Jenifer Leveque was in court Tuesday for an initial hearing. She is charged with Assisting a Criminal and Transfer of Handgun to a Felon. The charges in connection to the deaths of Matthew and Lisa Clippinger in June of this year.

Matthew's brother, Steven, is charged with murdering the couple.

Leveque remains in the St. Joseph County Jail on $60,000 bond. The deadline for a plea deal is August 2.
