A grass fire spread to a home on the 53,000 block of Buckeye in Osceola Wednesday.
Authorities say the homeowner was burning a debris pile yesterday that believed was out Tuesday night. When the winds started back up Wednesday morning, the fire spread to the house.
A baby and a nanny were inside the house when the fire started. The nanny called 911. The homeowners say they didn't know there was a burn ban in effect, because they travel a lot.
No one was injured in the fire. The Clay Fire Chief says they have yet to assess the damage completely, but the damage is not minor.
