We're only a few days into summer but it's definitely felt like summer for weeks.
Businesses by the beach in New Buffalo have been seeing the summer crowds for weeks too.
Dean Carlson with "Nancy's Proprietor" says he normally doesn't see the summer crowds until the second week of June.
But he's not complaining, all those early customers means his bottom line is up.
"I'd say close to 10 or more percent, which is a big increase in one year," says Carlson.
"The Stray Dog Bar and Grill" is also thanking the weather for plentiful patrons.
The restaurant is packed everyday and it's been that way well before the first day of summer this year.
"All to our advantage I had to staff earlier and have a full staff ready each and everyday," says manager Ginger Scott.
The Stray Dog is open year round and Scott says even the past winter was really good for them because it was so mild and there was a hot stretch in March.
