Drivers in Mishawaka will have an easier time getting around starting Thursday. A road project that has had traffic down to one lane in each direction near the corner of Grape and Douglas Road is expected to be finished.
A few weeks ago NIPSCO began a project to move a gas line at the intersection. During that time, not only was traffic restricted, but drivers were not able to make left turns at the intersection. NIPSCO said the project would allow greater accessibility for future repair projects.
NIPSCO told the Mishawaka Engineering Department that the restrictions would be lifted by 8 a.m. Thursday.
