Das Dutchman Essenhaus is hosting a complimentary community concert Friday, June 29th.  The event will showcase the Zephyr Woodwind Quintet.  The group was formed in the fall of 2011 by a group of musicians and long-time friends.  They wanted to explore offering classical music in a smaller setting than the symphony orchestra setting they were accustomed to.

Andrew Blount plays the French horn, Heidi Eash is on the oboe, Kathy Plank is the flutist, Kate Irelan plays clarinet and Ken Hanson is on the bassoon.

Members of the Zephyr Woodwind Quintet also perform locally in the Elkhart Municipal Band, the Elkhart County Symphony and the Maple City Chamber Orchestra.

The evening kicks off at Heritage Hall at 7:00PM and doors open at 6:30PM.  The building is directly across the street from the main campus of Das Dutchman Essenhaus which is located at 240 US 20, Middlebury, IN.

The concert is free but any donations will go to two local Middlebury charities; the Boys & Girls Club and the Middlebury Food Pantry.
