Rochester driver hits utility pole, airlifted to hospital

A Rochester man had to be air lifted to a Fort Wayne hospital after his car hit a utility pole in Fulton County.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Department says 45-year-old David Blystone was driving on Olson Rd. in Rochester when left the road and hit a pole in front of a home on the 6400 block.

Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash. Authorities don't know weather Blystone was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Blystone was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital with head and leg injuries.
