Elkhart man arrested for child neglect

A man was arrested for child neglect this week after a child was brought to the hospital for injuries.

According to Elkhart city police, a seven month old child was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated. After police investigated the situation, they arrested 27-year-old Joshua W. Stone.

Stone is facing battery with serious bodily injury and neglect charges.
