A woman had to swim to shore after Indiana Conservation Officers say she drove into a Kosciusko County lake during Friday's storms.
Conservation Officers say the woman was driving on Backwater Road, south of Webster Lake, when she drove into a boat ramp parking lot, down the boat ramp and into The Backwaters.
Officers say the 58-year-old woman from North Webster was able to roll down a window, crawl out the window and swim to shore.
Officers say strong winds, rain and hail caused low visibility at the time of the accident.
A diver was called in to hook up the vehicle so it could be towed out of the lake.
