Another musical celebration was held Friday night, a concert by the Notre Dame Summer Band.
It's made up of high school students, current Notre Dame students and community members who play an instrument.
This is the 4th year they've had a summer band and it's their biggest ever at 105 band members.
Tonight's concert was so big it was held at the new Kroc Center.
Billy Stix, a Motown legend, played with them.
They say the Summer Band proves to be an awesome experience for everyone involved.
"The kids are learning by playing with college students and with experienced members of the community. But then also, you have some members of the community who haven't played in several years so they want to find an outlet where they can play in a big band and maybe learn from those younger kids a few things, too."
They played a lot of Patriotic numbers for the concert in honor of the upcoming July 4th.
