With the heat we've had lately, you can bet a day at the St. Joseph County 4-H fair is pretty steamy. But the fair is ready, and not just with cold drinks and homemade ice cream.
They say, as long as you take care of yourself while you're out there, and stay hydrated, they have ways to help cool you off.
"Drink a lot of water when you come out here and we also have buildings like you're in right now, it's very cool in here. We have two large, very large buildings fully with AC. If you're walking around on the Midway, or other parts of the fairgrounds we do have mister fans going on with the water so we have all that in place too."
Don't worry about the animals either. The fair has them covered when it comes to keeping cool as well.
