Without a pool or other body of water to jump in and cool off, the St. Joseph County fair is a hot affair.
But the fair says there are plenty of ways for folks to stay cool while they have some fun in the sun.
Fair board director, Mark Tingles says there are two large buildings with air conditioning for people to hang out in and cool off in between all the rides.
On the midway there are also misting fans for people to use as well.
Tingle says people really need to make sure they're drinking a lot of water and listening to their bodies.
"Sunday we had four people from the church group that had to be rushed to the hospital because of heat exhaustion. Yesterday we had one," says Tingle.
The fair goes through Saturday and we'll be under a heat advisory until then so make sure to take it easy if you're stopping by.
