The National Weather Service says the 100 degree mark South Bend hit Thursday tied a 101 year old record.
The National Weather Service office in Northern Indiana says we also hit 100 degrees on July 5, 1911.
South Bend set a record high on Wednesday, July 4, when we hit 100. The previous July 5 record was 99 degrees in 1921.
