Greg Morrow of Sawyer dropped by the FOX28 studio Monday to
pick up the gift certificates to The Great Escape (for a DuCane Grill) and
Jaworski's Market (for a $150 meat basket): His prizes for being voted The Ugliest Grill
winner! Britt Conway presented the certificates and suggested they might
try grilling pizza. She does try all kinds of foods!
Greg credits his wife, Tina with entering him into the
contest and his son Devin for getting the word out so friends and family could
vote. The family estimates the grill to be more than 12 years old, and
well used as they cookout year round! They are excited to have cookouts
on the new DuCane grill from The Great Escape and are looking forward to
checking out Jaworski's meats. They have a lot to celebrate as their
daughter will soon turn 12 and Greg will be retiring from the Office of the
Sheriff, Berrien County before the end of the year!
So what will become of the old grill? A friend who has
the same model has already approached the family to see if he can use theirs
for parts. They are happy their over the hill grill will continue to
