North Webster man in serious condition after stabbing

A North Webster man was last reported in serious condition after he was stabbed early Friday.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department says someone called 911 after Travis Osbun came to their door bleeding and asked for help.

Officers found Osbun near his car, stabbed several times. Osbun was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital for treatment.

Detectives believe Osbun had been in an argument with his girlfriend and went to a friend's house to "cool off." Detectives think his friend, Billy Pearson, stabbed Osbun after he refused to leave.

Pearson is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on a charge of aggravated battery.
