Three fatal crashes in Elkhart County

It's been a deadly day on the roads in Elkhart County.
    Three people were killed in separate accidents Saturday.

The first happened just before 4am on Old US 20 near County Road 1.
    Police say the driver was killed when they went off the road and hit a parked car and then a tree.

 

Twenty-two year-old Jared Lay of Bristol was killed in another accident around 5 am on County Road 23.
    The Sheriff's Department says he too drove off the road and went into a ditch, then hit a tree stump and mailbox.
    Lay was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.

 

Twenty-one year-old Steven Eigsti of Warsaw was killed when the car he was riding in went off the road on State Road 15 and hit a tree.
    The driver, 25 year-old Brandon Eigsti survived the crash.
