A Michiana senior celebrated a very special birthday Sunday, and FOX 28 got to party with him!
Ethan Shelton is turning 109 on Tuesday!
So dozens of his friends and family members came to celebrate today.
Shelton moved to Berrien County in 1947 but grew up in Alabama.
So the theme of Sunday's party was Sweet Home Alabama.
He obviously knows the secret to a long life, "Chew your food good. Take your time," says Shelton.
His son, Jon Shelton says they're, "Always thinking of the future and looking ahead to what he's gonna do next year."
Ethan's probably already thinking of next year's birthday party.
His son says at a recent doctors appointment Ethan asked the doctor if he thought he could make it to 125!
