The man accused of killing two people in South Bend this past May will be in court again will be back in court later in the month. Dabian Boyd, 18, was arraigned on murder charges Monday over the deaths of 21-year-old Kalyn Farmer and 22-year-old Mercedes Newbill.
Farmer showed up at Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds in the early morning hours of May 6. He died from his injuries before he could tell police what happened. Tips led police to Napier Avenue where they found Newbill dead in a car.
Boyd's initial hearing is set for July 23. FOX28 News will keep you updated on this case as it becomes available.
