Starting Wednesday traffic is going to be shut down on Hill Street, and crews don't expect to have this one done until late August.
Now it's only going to be one block of road that's closed off, but the location makes it a little tough. It's right downtown, just a few blocks east of the river.
All traffic on Hill Street is going to have to find another way between Colfax and LaSalle Avenues. So, if that's part of your commute you're going to want to keep that in mind, and give yourself some extra time before you head out the door.
We're told traffic will be detoured either to Niles Avenue or North St. Louis Boulevard to get around the construction. If you get confused, they will have plenty of signs out there to let you know where to go. Just be on the lookout for those.
