The call it the X-Games of Drivers Ed, and they aren't kidding. Michiana teens headed to Notre Dame's campus Thursday to experience the advanced driver-training program.
The "Key to Safe Teen Driving Program" is sponsored by Keybank and Kuhmo Tire USA. The program travels the country giving teens free classes on things like defensive driving.
And then there's the SKID car. It shows what it's like to drive on snow and ice. "None of the kids want to be here because their parents signed them up, and at the end of they don't want to leave because they find out it's fun!" says Dan Davis with Keybank.
Part of the program also stresses the dangers of driving while texting.
