Michiana has built quite a reputation as a hot bed for high school athletes. From football to basketball, track and golf, the number of our local kids moving on to the collegiate level continues to grow.
Add to that list, Elkhart Central's Azariah Stahl. The junior to be has committed to play volleyball at Purdue.
She won't graduate until 2014, but the 5'11 high flyer had offers from top schools around the country. Stahl chose the Boilermakers.
She is also a member of Team USA's Junior National Team that is playing in Des Moines next week and then in Nicaragua August 19th in the Junior Continental Championship.
She says the recruiting process was exciting and a little stressful, she just wanted to chose a school that left her without any doubts.
