A New York man is in a South Bend hospital in critical condition following a crash in Cass County, Michigan.
Police say it happened on Dailey Road near Pokagon Highway in La Grange Friday evening.
Police say, 57 year-old William Reed of New York was driving with his 20 year-old son, also named William Reed.
The two were northbound on Dailey when Reed went into the intersection into oncoming traffic.
Thirty-five year-old Jason Weber of Dowagiac was driving eastbound on Pokagon and collided with Reed.
Weber and his children in the car took themselves to the hospital and were treated and released.
Erika Weber was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital where she is in stable condition.
Twenty year-old Reed was taken to a Dowagaic hospital and later released.
Fifty-seven year-old Reed was flown to South Bend Memorial where he was in critical condition.
Seat belts were used and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
