Fresh, locally grown produce, meats, and cheeses are delicious and nutritious.
Now more people will get to enjoy them thanks to a new program at the Goshen Farmer's Market.
Shoppers using food stamps can now get a dollar for dollar match for up to $10.
They'll get that $10 in market money that they can use at any vendor.
"This food here is fresher and more flavorful, more nutritious than a lot of what they're going to find in the grocery store and we want to make sure that they have the opportunity to have access to it," says Lisa Glon, Goshen Farmer's Market Manager.
The new program continues until October 20th or until funds run out.
