A grass fire sparked up in a pretty hectic area in Mishawaka Saturday afternoon.
Crews battled the fire in the area of Lincolnway and Bittersweet.
The fire stayed mainly near the railroad tracks but did burn about a half mile area.
Firefighters on the scene told us the railroad had to be shut down for a period of time because the fire jumped the tracks.
