The Young Professionals Network took to the water to celebrate its birthday Tuesday afternoon.
The organization celebrated its 7th birthday at the East Race Waterway in South Bend.
All professionals between 21 and 39 years of age were invited to the party.
Participants could ride the waves as many times as they wanted.
One member says the goal of the group is to help people grow in the workforce.
Young Professionals Network member Ryan Fenstermaker said, "It's important to get people in our demographic out here..early so that you are learning about all the things we study, get involved in civic culture and meet other young professionals."
