The 23rd Garden Walk took place Wednesday night in South Bend. The event was sponsored by the South Bend Museum of Art.
It started at Resurrection Lutheran Academy on Nimtz Parkway then lead walkers through some pretty gorgeous gardens. "We try to find gardens that are owner designed and built, not professionally," says Garden Walk Coordinator Dayle Brown
This year's Garden Walk was dedicated to the memory of Tonia Tombaugh. She was a master gardener and a longtime coordinator of past Garden Walks.
Organizers remember her dedication and love of gardening and her favorite quote: "All gardeners live in beautiful places because they make them so," Joseph Jourbert.
