Overnight fire guts North Liberty home

A North Liberty home took a lot of interior damage from a fire early Thursday morning.

It happened on the 68000 block of Redwood Road just north of Potato Creek State Park. Crews were called out there around 2:30.

We're told the house is a two-story farm home and it is still standing this morning. Liberty Township firefighters were the first on the scene but they did receive a lot of assistance from other departments to put the fire out. They were out there well into Thursday morning.

At this point no injuries have been reported. We'll have updates for you as they become available here on FOX28.com.
