Over 300 families were fed Thursday.
Abundant Life Church partnered with Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency to feed the hungry in Benton Harbor.
This is the second month that the Community Action Agency has sponsored this event and organizers plan on making it a monthly activity. The location will alternate between Abundant Life Church and the Community Action Agency's warehouse at 331 Miller Street.
A food truck was sponsored by donated funds and stocked full of melons, potatoes, squash, cucumbers, dairy products and bakery products.
Anyone is welcome to register and go through the truck line.
More than 30 volunteers from the church and community worked together to hand out the food.
