A two car crash in LaPorte County leaves one person dead and three more seriously injured. The accident happened Thursday morning around 7:30 on Joliet Road near Wozniak Road.
The driver of one of the vehicles was killed in the crash. Three children were in that car. Two of them were seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The other cars driver was also seriously injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital.
The LaPorte County crash investigation team says one of the vehicles, an SUV, was heading west when it crossed the center line and struck a car heading in the other direction. Both vehicles were forced off the road and the SUV rolled onto its side.
The names of the victims were not released, pending notification of family.
