The family of a girl critically injured in a hit and run accident is getting some financial help from friends. A car wash was held Saturday to help pay for the medical bills of 17 year old Zion Carlstrom. She was riding her bike on County Road 35 last week when she was hit by a car from behind. She is still in the hospital.
Bethel College nursing students organized the car wash. They're all classmates of Zion's mother. One such classmate, Amber Krause said, "my heart is really broken for her right now and I feel really sad for what has happened to her and it seems like a little bit but I just hope it helps her keep her mind on her kid rather than on her finances."
You could get your car washed by this group for a donation of ANY amount. And you can also donate online. To do that vista http://www.giveforward.com/helpzioncarlstromrecover.
