Dogs take on duathlon

Some pet owners took taking their dog for a walk to the next level and participated in a doggie duathalon.

Camp K9's Du Like a dog event was held at Potato Creek State Park Sunday.

There were four running and obstacle course challenges that dogs and owners participated in together.

"Today's event shows that if you take your dog for a walk in the morning maybe you'll take your dog for a run in the morning. Maybe go to the beach more often," says organizer Peter Colan.

Prizes for winning the events were cookies for humans and dogs.
