You'll soon be able to fly non-stop to Denver from South Bend Regional Airport.
Frontier Airlines announced on Monday that it will start service in South Bend on October 11 with 4 flights weekly to its hub in Denver. The flights will use Airbus A-319 aircraft, a full size jet.
Flights to South Bend will be on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and are scheduled to leave Denver at 7:02 p.m. and arrive in South Bend at 11:33 p.m. Flights to Denver will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and are scheduled to leave South Bend at 10:07 a.m. and arrive in Denver at 10:50 a.m.
Through Saturday, Frontier says it is offering fares as low as $79 each way for South Bend flights.
Frontier's aircraft are known for the wildlife images on their tails. Inside the cabin, Frontier says its aircraft have DIRECTV available in every row. The airline says the jet also feature what they call STRETCH seating, which offers more legroom. Both services cost extra.
