Police have captured a suspect in a foiled moped robbery caught on tape.
The robbery happened back on April 1. Timothy Gramza, then of South Bend, and his friends were loading wood into a truck when an unidentified man and, according to Gramza, said "I'm taking this bike." Gramza confronted the robber and was shot at. The bullet missed, and the robber ran away.
The entire incident was caught on security camera. Police say that they got lots of tips on the possible name of the suspect, thanks to the quality of the video.
Investigators had a suspect, but it wasn't until they got a tip on his whereabouts on Tuesday that they were able to arrest him. Police arrested 18-year-old Joshua Kneeland of South Bend. He is facing multiple charges, including Robbery, Criminal Recklessness and Possession of a Firearm.
