The coverage of the deadly theater shooting is all over the news.
So how do adults talk to children about the tragedy?
We spoke with a Child Life Specialist at Memorial for some advice.
"It's important for parents to allow their children to come to them and ask questions and for parents to answer them as simply and as truthfully as they possibly can." said Child Life Specialist Becky Wachs.
Remember if you don't know the all the answers, it's ok to tell kids that you don't know.
Keep your communications about the tragedy age appropriate.
If your child becomes overly obsessive about it you might want to seek outside help.
