The Elkhart Police Department arrested four suspects they believe are connected to an early morning armed robbery in the 800 block of West Jefferson. Police say the home invasion happened around 2 AM Wednesday morning. The suspects were carrying a gun and there were multiple people inside the house. Investigators say the suspects took electronics, a cell phone, and other items from the home.
Police and patrol officers were able to locate some of the stolen items and arrest four people they think are responsible for stealing them. Two 19-year olds, Jayzahn Creel and Earl Hogan are being charged with Robbery with a Firearm, a class B Felony. There were two juveniles also arrested, a 15 and 16 year old, both facing identical charges.
FOX28 talked with another victim of a home invasion that happened in a similar manner. She says she has reason to believe the suspects arrested may be connected to her robbery as well.
The Elkhart Police Department says they recovered several stolen items and will continue to sort through them to see if the suspects will face any more charges.
