Miami Village Church in South Bend hosted its second annual block party Sunday.
The church is working to bring hope to a community through music.
Festivities included a dunk tank, clothing drive, face painting, concessions, and entertainment by 13 local bands including Gospel rap bands.
"Miami Street seems to be ridden with a little bit of drug problems, we met a couple homeless people. It seems to be a place where a lot of the lost are," said Rapper Raymond Massey.
"People are looking for a place to go, this church is looking for a way to reach out to them and this is an opportunity to do that," said Angola Pastor and Volunteer Mike Cain.
Over 3,000 tickets were distributed throughout the week to the community.
Music started at 5pm and ended at 10pm.
