A South Bend man already facing charges for other crimes is back in jail after a woman says he attacked her. The woman told police that Hakeen Hogan and her were arguing when he hit her in the head and slammed her head against the floor.
The incident reportedly happened at a home on the 1300 block of Campeau Street. Officers found and arrested Hogan who, according to reports, "became irate and kicked the patrol car door which struck an officers hand."
Hogan is charged with Domestic Battery and Battery of an Officer. He is currently being held on $200,000 bond.
He was also convicted of Escape and Resisting Law Enforcement back in April after attempting to flee the courtroom during a hearing on a Marijuana Charge. Hogan is facing charges in an unrelated carjacking of two Holy Cross students in 2009. The trial for the carjacking is set for September 14.
