If there was ever any doubt that Notre Dame holds the toughest schedule in college football... the proof is out.
The first USA Today Coaches' poll has been released and while the Irish crack the top 25, so does the majority of their schedule.
Here's a look at the top 10. The Irish will face #3 USC in LA, the final game of the season and 4th ranked Oklahoma in Norman October 27th.
They host the 8th ranked Wolverines under the lights September 22nd. Michigan is the highest ranked Big 10 team.
Michigan State enters the season ranked 13th. The Irish will play in East Lansing on September 15th.
While they'll host 18th ranked Stanford in the middle of October.
Notre Dame center Braxston Cave knows their schedule is tough but he says they're not afraid of it.
Cave says he came to Notre Dame for this type of competiton. He says to be the best you've got to beat the best.
