Downtown South Bend went to the dogs..literally!
People were able to bring their dogs to First Friday earlier tonight.
Pooch's were able to dine al fresco with their family..
and also tested their skills on a full agility course.
Many were excited to bring fido and enjoy the dog days of summer.
"I think dog days is one of the bigger ones plus the weather is always nice for a good turnout."
"It's great to be able to bring your dog to some places its not often you get to bring your dog along."
The biggest adoption event of the year was there as well with many dogs looking for good homes.
