Stray bullet hits Middlebury Little League scoreboard

A day at the ballpark turned a little scary for folks in Middlebury.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's department was called out to the little league after some folks say a stray bullet hit the score board.

Police say someone was target shooting and wasn't intentionally trying to hit the sign or hurt anyone.

Officers will continue to investigate exactly what happened.
