Back-to-school shopping can take a toll on anyone's wallet, but for some lucky students, it won't be a problem.
The Kroc Center and Target helped out 20 local students with $80 gift cards for a back-to-school shopping spree. They shopped with a chaperone at the Target store in Granger on Monday morning, picking out everything from backpacks to art supplies and new clothes.
In all, more than 12,000 students nationwide will get a gift card from the program.
