NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2012
On Tuesday August 7th, 2012 neighborhoods throughout the City Of Mishawaka are being invited to join forces with thousand of communities' nation wide for the Annual National Night Out. The National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness in our neighborhoods and business districts. Support is generated for local anti-crime efforts and to strengthen neighborhood spirit.
Mishawaka Neighborhood Watch Associations will host a variety of special events for the entire family. Two of the sites are listed below. There will be activities for the kids and neighborhoods can get together to meet one another. Food and refreshments will be served. We feel like this event will bring everyone together to talk about crime in their community and address quality of live issues in our neighborhoods. Please come and join us!
Area businesses and area crime watch coordinators have donated items and their time for this event. We can not say enough for their efforts in assisting the Mishawaka Police Department in their fight against crime everyday. Bring the whole family to join in the fight to keep out neighborhoods safe.
Members Mishawaka Police Department's Public Relations / Street Crime Unit will be assisting the Neighborhood Watch Coordinators. Mishawaka Police Officers will be answering any question or concerns citizens might have. Also attending will be City Of Mishawaka - City Officials.
