Over 300 families were fed in Warsaw today. God's Highway to Heaven Church partnered with the Food Bank of Northern Indiana to bring a mobile food pantry to this site.
The Food Bank travels to different locations weekly and hands out fresh perishable items to people needing a helping hand. It's first come first serve, but anyone is welcome.
"It's really helpful to me. I did work somewhere and as everyone knows from this area, they did close down. It's a little bit rougher than what we would like to think, so it helps out," says Melinda Campbell.
The mobile will be in Knox next week and will return to the Warsaw location in a couple months.
