FOX28 Sports Anchor Allison Hayes lost her husband Sunday night in a tragic car accident.

Rob had just watched the Chicago Bears practice and was on his way home when his truck left the road.  He was only 37 years old.

He and Allison were high school sweethearts. They went to Niles High School together and then the University of Florida. Rob took a lot of pride in working as a lineman for AEP. He took even more pride in the love he shared for his wife and his pride and joy, 3-year-old Emery.

The family has asked that you respect their privacy during this difficult time. Arrangements will only be for family and close friends. You can, however, leave a note of condolence on the Brown Funeral Home website.

A fund has been set up in memory of Robert in honor of Emery at all Teachers Credit Unions or mail TCU at 346 W. Cleveland Rd., Granger, IN 46530.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Allison, Emery and their family now and in the future.  Rob was a great family man. He'll never be forgotten.
