FOX 2 in Detroit is reporting that a deadly car accident in LaPorte County could be connected to a triple homicide in Van Buren Township.

Police say after arriving at a Van Buren Township home to notify a family of a deadly car accident, they discovered the bodies of a woman and two children inside.
Police confirm to FOX 2 the discovery was made at a home on Anna Street in the Homestead subdivision near Haggerty Road.
Investigators remain at the scene. Police plan to hold a press conference later this morning to provide an update.
